Unhappy Tuning shops in the Houston, Texas area

Hello Folks,

I'm new over here. I have an Evo MR that has quite a few upgrades, and it needs some tuning really bad!!! Does anyone know any tuning or performance shops in the Houston area that is familiar with, and knows how to tune Evos?

There are quite a few performance shops over here but I am having a hard time finding one that knows how to tune evos.
Your leads and help would be greatly appreciated.

The only place I know that is not to far from you is MZM performance in Austin. Here is a link.

Hello J8,

Thanks for the reply. MZM is about 160 miles from Houston. However, it looks like I might have to make that trip. You are the second one that has refered me to them

I am now working at EngineLogics in Houston. What type of fuel management do you plan to use?

Hello Dan,

Thanks for your email. I am currently using the Mitsubhishi Evo VIII UTEC. I have all the usual bolt-ons except for camshafts and cam gears. My bolt-ons include: ATP turbo kit, 3 inch exhaust, tubular header, air-intake kit, ARP head studs, fuel rails, 720cc injectors, fuel pump, high flow cats, manual boost controller, and a front mounted intercooler.

Stock EVO8 Turbo didnt seem to make power past 26. On a side note, after we installed the EngineLogics Street Ported cylinder head we notice considerable power gains at less boost. We made the same power the year before at 25psi on C16 compared to 18 psi on 93 Pump.
