I have on 03" evo. How difficult is it to perform 05' hotside upgrade?

its a simple bolt on peice goes between your turbo and o2 housing. Try doing a search.

It took me about 4 hours......pretty easy but some of the bolts on the heat shield are difficult to remove and reinstall. I actually went out and purchased a zero swing ratchet for the job and that made life much easier.

Pretty straight forward, basic tools required. Do it right and take the radiator off.

real easy, just make sure engine is cold since heat shield bolts are aluminum & snap with no effort. hotside will gain you about 15-20whp untuned. while u have the radiator off, it wouldn't hurt to also slap on a low temp thermostat...

IMO yes it would , on a stock ecu(piggyback/flash) it makes it run richer .

As for the tuning.....I have an xede computer....and the Vishnu told me to run an 05 map on my 03 car. I compared the maps and they are nearly identical. I wouldn't worry too much about getting a new flash for the hotside. There is a noticable jump in midrange torque. I didn't notice a change in spool. Very good mod for any 03/04!
