ok i searched and didnt find much before u scream and tell me to search. i was in the evo-ny.com forums and someone is selling a utec cheap. neways one of the forum members who responded to his thread said "UTEC's are going to become much more desirable once a certain something is released". what is this certain something? im in the process of either getting utec or a dynoflash so interested in what this certain something is thanks.

 

1. Addition of a launch RPM and a flat shift RPM setting.
2. Removal of start up CEL sequence.
3. Knock light (CEL) flash threshold is now user defined.
4. Active knock retard of maps.
5. Removal of coolant set point correction of fuel and timing.
6. Addition of air temperature correction tables.
7. MAF scaling for non closed loop fuelling.
8. Optional use of Boost Map 5 for PWM control of spare solenoid.
9. Transition smoothing of closed to open and open to closed loop.
10. Hold the wastegate shut until a predetermined manifold pressure.
11. Last event record of knock stored.

Maybe Speed Density or a blowthrogh MAF. Not sure if this will make it into the next firmware though.

 

I have a good feeling that the speed density will make it to the next firmware.

 

god damn i hope they do something before the end of winter or im going to flip out....give us just a small firmware upgrade so we can have a taste!

 

I really want speed denisity that way I can go and get tuned. I am not getting tuned till its released.
