TurboXS UTEC + Tuner for sale

Hey All!

I have gone to a different system for my car and no longer need the UTEC or Tuner Pro box! I would like to sell these as a pair so you will have a complete tuning solution!

I am asking for $800 shipped for the pair and it comes with the following:

TurboXS UTEC w / 1.7 Firmware
- Includes all manuals / TurboXS ABS / Harness etc

TurboXS Tuner Pro
- Includes the Knock Sensor
- VW O2 sensor with VW cable (I also have the bosche setup but found the VW to be better)

Thanks!
Chris

It has everything you need to tune your car. The tuner pro box is a wideband box that hooks up to the UTEC so you can log your AFR's along with everything else. You will also be getting the Wideband O2 sensor and the knock sensor so you can plug in headsets and listen to your motor and get knock events recorded by the Tuner box. I do not have the remote map select button because I never needed it. I can take pics of the items if you wish. Nothing really exciting to look at though. For more details you can look at www.turboxs.com. Brand new this setup would cost you $1600!

HI, I'm also interested in your utec + tuner. I was wondering where did you have the tuner box mounted? I very much want the utec, but I'm debating the need for the tuner box. I'm trying to keep the clutter to a minimum. Also, where did you mount the wide band sensor?

Thanks.

I mounted mine in the cubby hole under the heater controls. It didnt require any modification but I needed to pull the holder that was there out. Here is a post with a PIC.

You can still switch the maps via the software or the map switch on the utec. The remote map switch just lets you mount an easier to reach location that would require you to dremel a hole some place to mount it. If I was switching my active map I would change the "active map" handle in the software.

I would really like to sell for half of retail ($800 shipped).

First off, sorry fo asking so many questions, but how does the tuner integrate with the UTEC? Is there another serial connection in the back that plugs into the UTEC? When you're tuning or datalogging, is the serial connection on your tuner the only thing you need to worry about? Lastly, where did you mount the wideband o2 sensor? I just wanna know more from someone who's had firsthand experience. Thanks.

The tuner plugs into the utec via a serial cable then you can simply plug another serial cable into the tuner box and log from both the UTEC or the Tuner from the one port on the Tuner. You can basically fully access either the tuner or the utec seperatly but the UTEC will autolog everything from both the Tuner and UTEC into one log for easy viewing. Short answer is Yes to your question. You only need to utilize the one serial port on the Tuner.

I had a bung welded on to my down pipe just before the CATs for my O2 sensor. It only cost me $20 to get a muffler shop to weld the bung on for me.

I am selling my Utec for $500 plus shipping. No tuner but you could buy one and add it very easily and still save a bunch of money. PM if you want it.
