Airflow source question
In the config settings there are 4 different settings that can be used. Now my question is what is the difference of the 4? Heres what it says per the manual:
0- Speed Density with temp compensation
1- Speed Density without temp compensatiin
10- MAF Frequency input with UserTunes (MAF Translator Mode)
11- MAF Frequency input with UserTunes an VE table (MAF Translator mode)
I have mine set to 0 but the fueling seems not to be working correctly, if I use the 10 or 11 settings the MAF would have to be connected correct?
The reason I ask this is because I have +8% fueling on the low setting from 800-1200 if I change these settings to 0 nothing happens, are the trims in my car that stable?

(the usual way of doing things)
1 = Speed Density calculation, but no temperature correction is done.
(allows an IAT to be connected to the ECU, so the ECU can do the temperature corrections) this is useful for experimentation and alternative configurations....
10, allows a GM MAF to be connected to the F-In input and the MAFT Pro operates in "Translator Mode". In future versions, there will be an option for voltage input MAFs. User tunes (high mid low) are effective in this mode. Select correct MAF connected using F In mode
11, same as 10, but factors in the VE table, a very comprehensive "Translator Mode" but would require you set the VE table to 100% everywhere. I put this mode in as an enhanced mode in case someone needed it.
When you say you adjust the low load fuel at idle, and nothing changes..... What are you monitoring? trims or just AFR?
To run with the stock MAF on a Karman Vortex car, you need F-Out mode 0 (Frequency pass-thru) which bypasses all the speed density junk...... remember to reconnect the air temp and baro connections to the MAF, and disconnect from the translator.

Thanks. I keep forgetting that this is still a piggyback and the regular ecu is still in there and still controlling a lot of things, also forgot about the fuel trims.
