maf translator with a flash vs. aem ems

maf translator with a flash vs. aem ems

What do you guys think about using this product? Easier than going with an aem ems?Its hard to find a good tuner where i live thats all...

hit up the maftpro section of this tuning sections. definatly a sick product= but then again like u said who can tune it?

I looked at that! this translator looks easier and cheaper! just wondering how it will work and probably wont need much tuning compared to the aem...

yaah if i was you i would do a search on malibujack or even PM him- he has no vendor ties and wont give u a salesman answer- and is a pro on this matter

The GM 3" and the GM 3.5" are the most commonly used with the MAF translator. In fact, I don't even know if you can use anything but a GM with the translator so it should work fine.

Malibujack does not have the Maftpro afaik.

I believe he uses a blowthrough maf + UTEC last time I checked.

With the new release of version 4.5 firmware for the MAFTPro, the unit really shines now. I just finished tuning a 2003 to 379whp/396tq (MD) and was going to put the TTP car on the rollers but only had 28 min of battery and no charger with me.

The Pro is the way to go. Leave the MAFT for the 1g DSM's with inferior MAF sensors. Evo MAF is good to 400whp or so.
