Flash with Revolvers???

I am considering using a flash with the revolver cams I am putting in next week instead of the ecu+ that I already have. Will this work, and will the car idle? I will also be using 780cc injectors. I talked to Dan at HarmanMotive in So Cal, and he said it would idle lopey, but he could do it. Does this sound right, or should I use a piggyback? Has anyone used a flash for 280's or other radical cams and had success?

Right now with just the basic mods my car idles better, and drives better without the ecu+ installed, so this is why I am considering just using a flash. I also don't like that the ecu+ gives a CEL (but the cams will probably throw a CEL). Any input would be great. Thanks

Someone must have a flash with one of the more radical cams. Anyone?

Even HKS 272's will idle lopey on just a flash, I have heard something that Al is tuning for now that gets rid of some of the lopeyness, but I have not seen it in person or heard a car idle with it.

Yea, if 272's don't idle well, I'm sure revolvers won't. I don't care how it sounds, I just don't want it to stall at stoplights and such. Maybe I'll have to stick with a piggyback.

I called Harmon Motive again, and he did say that Ecutek would be better than a traditional flash. He said that with a 20g-9 and revolvers I am on the edge of needing a standalone, but a flash should still work. I think I want to stick with the stock computer to keep the drivability, and I'll just deal with the idle.
