upper i/c pipeing question

upper i/c pipeing question

i was told that if u upgrade the upper intercooler pipeing without tuning it will make you car run bad. has anyone else heard of this? ty for all input.

Now if you changed the intake, either tube or filter then yes.

well i have k&n intake with all the greddy hard piping with a new ams intercooler and i have a full turbo back megan exhaust and i have no had to tune my car yet it still runs the same as stock just more power soo they are wrong on that one

Ask any tuner here on this site!
I guarantee your car is not running good as it could be tuned. Have you ever had your car on a Dyno. Just do and I bet you will be surprised. Let alone I am sure your probably hitting boost cut with that exhaust let alone running very lean with that hunk of junk k&n intake. Get your car tuned and you will probably make around 50more WHP and around 75fts of tq. I have seen so many Evo's on the dyno with the k&N and they actually loose power with it over the stock airbox.

If you go down the highway just past the 2 lakes there is a big dairy farm. Just down the road to the right there is a large Kraft factory and they have a Colby Dyno at Holstien Performace. They tune piggie backs on a dairy basis. You will like the shop soo much you just might cream your cheese.







In other words, I have no idea.

lmao theres one in st.louis!!!! thanks for the info thought it sounded a little weird seeing how the upper would increase air flow cabalitily.
