LC-1 problems ... HELP !!

LC-1 problems ... HELP !!
last night me and a friend completed wiring the LC1 and XD-16. everything was working. the gauge is working and the sensor is heated up.
but the problem is, there is no communication between the LC1 and the XD-16 !
the gauge is supposed to show an error code before i connected the sensor to the sensor interface, but it didn't! i also tried to connect them to see if it will show the heating sequence count down, but it didn't! 
anyone here know what am i facing here and how to solve it?
