necessary to tune for new setup?

How bad would i need a tune with a 10.5 hotside and ebay 02 housing added to my setup. I did search for a while on it but couldnt get a clear answer on if it was really needed for a retune for these. I'm sure the 02 housing wouldn't affect anything really but wasn't sure about the hotside.

it will not hurt the car if it goes untuned but you will see more gains with a tune. just did the same mod then got tuned by AMS. Awesome

it's likely to push you into a higher load column and thus different fuel/timing values than intended. It might be a good idea to get it dialed in.

I'm agreeing with Mellon. A good tuner would have anticipated the higher load values with mods, but it's not going to be 100%. If you have a solid tune currently, it's not absolutely necessary to re-tune right after the upgrade, but it would be recommended to do some logs and get it dialed in soon after.

I just did the same thing. I added a test pipe, O2 housing, ported ex manifold, and a 10.5 housing and my tune was way off!
