fp evo green & 780cc inj NO TUNE
fp evo green & 780cc inj NO TUNE
I'm installing sat... I won't be able to get a tune for awhile. At least a few weeks. I have a DD, but my question is can I drive the car "normally" staying out of boost.
Will the injectors put to much fuel out there? I don't want to wash a cylinder wall down or anything.
Also the tuner is 3 1/2 fwy trip away....
Any advice is appreciated.

+1. What brand are the injectors. You can change the injector scaling on ecuflash you could get a base tune until you get tuned. Otherwise I would agree to just stay on the stockers until you are ready to get tuned. Install them the day of the tune and hop on the dyno tell the tuner what your injectors are.
Im running the same setup basically
Fp green, Precision 780's, hks 280s, meth 30 psi hah

with a decent meth kit you can use the stock injectors at 30psi on a green and still not be above 90% duty. how do i know, well i've done it
just make sure your using quite a bit of meth though... otherwise those injectors will be maxed out
and to properly scale your injectors you need a wideband... it will help you out tremendously and take far less time. if car is lean, reduce the scaling factor. if it is rich, increase scaling factor. i would start with some known injector latency values for the injectors you have, and if need be you can adjust those as well.

If you don't scale for the injectors your fuel trims will be way off in closed loop and open loop, so even out of boost you will be super rich.

Scale the 780's around 680 or 700 and set the latencies to correct the fuel trims. There is a thread in the ECUFlash forum that should help with the scaling.

I'm getting a Green and Cosworths installed on my IX and my tuner is recommending 660's, will be pump gas...no meth, 24psi spike. Are those big enough injectors?
what happens if one day you wanna go with a big turbo? I purchased 780's in case one day the green isn't enough for me...
but yeah 660's are fine...
****, i'm untuned on stock and my green pulls hard.. granted my boost isn't that high

I want to Buy a evo green But I am trying to keep my cost low as I am low on cash. So I dont want to but injector if I dont have to.What PSI can I run With the Evo Green on a evo IX with just a 255 fuel pump TBE, Intake, Fmic full Injen intake and piping kit., and I have a Buschur tune. 93 OCT I was wanting to run about 22psi and 24 when I use 100OCT. I really only hoping for about a 30-35 WHP gain.
