At speed when I rev match, I often get knock during the transition. Not sure if this is caused by lean spool. Is this common? What should be done about it.

I have seen cells with load of -8.67 running 22 degrees of timing knock 8 counts at 3000 rpm

 

Do a search for vibration at 3K on earlier evo's, I vaguely remember this being discussed.
