Question TPS Calibration

When my car was last tuned the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) was off so it read 94% at WOT instead of 100%. I just replaced the throttle shaft seals and fixed the TPS in the process so that WOT=100% now. Question, will this have any effect on my tune, and if so can it be harmful? thanks.

If it was fully open at 94% before and now it's fully open at 100% now then no.

cool, thanks. Do you know what the signal of the TPS is actually used for in the ECU (e.g. calculating load)?
