Any issues not having knock control?

A friend has an autronics that I'm considering purchasing and after doing some reading the only real turn off for me is that it doesn't have knock control. It would be for a track car that's primarly run on e85 and 104+. Is anyone running a knock link or anything or all just faith in the tune?

what's the point knock control if the engine blow up anyway, like AEM garbage. Also if you rely on knock to tune, that mean you don't know how tune. There's other safety feature in the autronic that will retard the timing for you.

Thanks man. Would you recomend any other safety features for a track car using the autronics? Maybe a knock link?

I'd recommend having your car tuned by someone competent, on a sensitive dyno.
