Went through it miltiple times with my evo. It sounds to me like the clutch. Thank god for warranty!

Is it doing this under WOT?
Engine mods?
Boost gauge reading?

those would help!

mine did the exact same thing right after i bought the car is was over boosted causing spark blow out
