Where its stripped in the TC, this is actually the front diff. you can get an RS lsd used for about $300 give or take and its probably in your interest to replace the torque tube as well. shep sells billet torque tubes for $300, oem is just over $100.

excuse me for not knowing what the parts are called but its the 2nd tube of 3 in the t case or the middle one.. the smallest shaft coming out of the tranny is what drives the one that is stripped.

its all good. the smallest tube coming out of the trans is the torque tube im referring too. the larger tube is actually the splined side of the center diff spider gears.

if it helps, theres a pdf breakdown of the driveline... https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/at...ivetrainv2.pdf

the very cheapest would be find a good used open diff for the TC and an oem torque tube. imho, i would rather upgrade while u already have it apart . its not a bad install, there might be a writeup somewhere on here.
