Thanks again jasserv and for the PM with the link! I did order the set which I just got today. I have not installed them because I also ordered a Samco silicone hose kit for the system and should have them by Friday to put these clamps on. Hope they work well! ;-)

awesome let me know how the silicone hose set works out for you.... I may have to pick those up.... lol

you just said it right there. my best guess is fouled plugs. my dsm used to do the exact same thing when the plugs would go bad. by some new ones BPR7ES Copper NGK plugs. two bucks a piece.

ahhaha happened to me on parkway first time i drove the car, sounded like i blew the engine! damn high boost and crappy stock I/C piping

So was it blown intake piping or shot plugs from a poor tune?

i had a budy with close symptoms and it turned out that he had jumped a tooth on his timing belt. Cams were really lopey and he kept thinking his plugs and or coils went bad. If you havent already fixed your problem trying looking at the timing belt.
