Forgive me for the super newb question but I just got my OpenPort 2.0 in the mail and really want to start learning how to tune and log and all that good stuff. I currently have the EcuFlash and Mitsulogger. I have read many of the How To threads and have the Videos and tutourials saved on the desktop. However after hours of searching I cant find the right thread that tells me what I need to start logging... I'm wonderng if it has anything to do with the OP2.0 or maybe another issue. Anyway anyone that can send me in the right direction is worth their weight in gold! Please help a newb out! Thanks everyone

I have tactrix 2.0 so it might vary..

I hooked up the cables to the port and the computer. Fired up EcuFlash, and it said something like rom recognized. It showed different variables (I messed around with what 'car') it was at the top left (not sure which is correct for our Evo's).

And it did everything itself. It saves the data into a file when click start logging. I'm new (obviously) but I just fiddled with the program till I got something moving on the EcuFlash.

I would like to know exactly what 'car' to pick on the top left, but otherwise it's fairly straight forward. And how to use the cool 'dashboards'.

 

Are you sure youre talking about ECUFlash and not EvoScan? I dont have the EvoScan as of yet since it doesnt work with the new OP2.0, some one has to be logging with OP2.0 any Gurus have any input?
