Given then chance, I'd go with the 2.0 for flashing/standalone logging and a VAG cable for actuator tests with evoscan. The 1.3 cables are too pricey and take too long to arrive, since they're all made by evoscan in NZ now. For $169 you can get an OP2.0 from tactrix in a day .

I was the one who found out the vag com could be used to flash these ecus, but I LOVE my 2.0, lol. The chinabay cable is cheap though, so can't argue with that. It's fiddly at times, and I can't say for sure if ecuflash 1.29a will work on mitsus with one, but evoscan definitely does.
