Putting back the stock cams require tuning?

Question Putting back the stock cams require tuning?

I bought an evo 8 with aftermarket cams, the cars idles crazy like a v8 engine which i hate . If i install the stock cams do I need to get it tuned. I appreciate your input. Thanks

As stated, yes you do.

Question though - why would you wanna go back to stock, just because of the noise? Do you know what cams are in there currently? Has the car been tuned to maybe try and reduce the lope? You'll lose power and the ablilty to make more power by going back to the stock VIII cams

You have a good point bro, i will keep the cams . By the way they are 272 kelford.

I retract my statement - take them out and go with the VIII stockers and I will buy your cams for $100..?!

Those cams are one of the best for our car for "lower" power goals, I'm glad you're making the right decision, haha
