Installed id1000 car wont start..
Hello everyone!
I've been tuning evos for a year now, I've setup up almost ever injector on evo's even Id1000's-2000's.
But I have a particular issue with this 03 evo, it won't start after I installed the Id 1000's with the tune scaled for them, but it will start if I give it 50-70% more fuel, meaning I scaled the injector down to 450''s, This is all on pump gas (91).
The car will start for about 3 seconds with the injectors scaled down to 450, but as soon as you push the throttle it'll die as if there not enough fuel to keep it alive, I have checked everything that I would think would cause this issue such as:
Fuel pump (installed a new 255 walbro)
Injectors(swapped them with a new set of 1000's just incase the other ones were faulty)
Clogged fuel lines
Double checked the tune making sure everything was set up correctly, I am completely lost with this issue as I never came across it before.
This evo had fic 750's on it before and ran great, I have yet to try a fresh rom setup for id1000's..
This evo has only bolt-ons if it matter and still on a maf setup..
Edit: I'm using tephra v7 btw
If anyone could help me or point out other things to try I'd greatly appreciate it!

Would you post your latency values ? I've never use these injectors but it would help someone else help you I believe.
Also, try a scratch Rom. I've had them become corrupt before and a similar issue appear.

if it matters, i found that whom ever owned this car before installed a 255 previously but left out one of the wire disconnected to a sensor on wiring hardness of the fuel pump, so i wired it back the way it was supposed to go, thats the only thing that i changed besided the tune and injectors..

I actually had start up issues with my Evo IX. It has FIC 1100's and the reistor was installed and left by the previous owner. The car would start and idle decently on a cold start, but when I shut down after the engine being fully warmed and waited 25-45 minutes and tried to crank..... it never turned over.... just cranked and cranked. I would have to use my jumper pack to get it going. I got a code for a failed resister pack.... that's when I found out that it wasn't needed. Bought the resister delete mod and now she turns over every time.
The car ran fine at WOT. AFR's were spot on when the resister was installed. But ever since I bypassed it it runs a bit richer and the car pop's here and there.
