Can someone look at my rom file please?

Hi all

I have a evo 8 gsr I purchased last year. Apparently it was tuned by previous owner, it has an apexi avcr boost controller installed.

Recently I've been having problems with it boosting strange and hitting like a fuel cut at high rpm. Might be a boost spike or something?

I was wondering if someone who knows what to look for can take a look at my map and see if anything stands out? I haven't got a clue.

I'm from the u.k and its ran on 99ron

Thanks

Post or send me the ROM, I'll take a look.

A log would help.

Map timing leaves a lot to be desired, looks like a stock map with Pop and Bang shifts. Lots of potential there.

It has valet mode, I would make sure you haven't enabled that.

Mostly looks untouched stock for the most part, some tweaks, some laziness. Nothing looks like a giant issue though, fuel cut load isn't upped that could be it.

Need a log to verify anything.

Have you boost leak tested?

Like the sound of lots of potential 👌.
I'll get the wideband fitted and do some logs on it. What should I log for and 3rd gear on wot? Or 4th?.

I would like to remove the apexi avcr and have boost set through the ecu instead is this hard to do?

With some logs would it be possible for you to do some tweaks or would I need to take it to a tuner to have it done? I dont mind paying some ofc.

I haven't owned it long and just been fitting parts ready for more power.

Mods so far are...
Stock 80 series turbo from a evo 9 with new tial internal wastegate. Fitted turbo a month ago as my stock turbo had play in it.
Ecs 3.5" fmic with short route piping
Full 3" decat with screamer
Jmf exhaust manifold
4" K&N running with Maf

Appreciate the help mate.

I will boost leak test it when my turbo inlet adapter arrives

3rd WOT log till fuel cut, but looking below, you need a tune before doing so safely.

It's not, but would also require some new hardware (3 port boost solenoid) and a tune.

I don't mind tweaking a setting here or there, but the mods you've added would benefit and need a full tune to get working.

If you have added these with no change to the map, this is why you are hitting cut. The car is probably running way too lean. I wouldn't do much boosting until you get the tune sorted.

Ok thanks. I think I'm going to order a 3 port and have it tuned properly. I'll stay off boost until then.

Thanks for the help
