SO i should probably be all set then, providing it is a proper installation. I know it seems to be a random issue, but i would like the input to help convince me to shell out the cash for it!!

Hi everybody. I'm back

I will be trying out the same E Manage I had last year on a different Evo. First I will try it without the optional ignition harness. I was told that power still goes into the coil packs whenever the car is on the ON position, car running or not.

After seeing if that is the exact cause of the problem, I will hook up the ignition harness, as well as this other setup that someone told me to try. The thing has a GReddy part number, but nobody stocks it. It is SUPPOSED to stop the coil frying from happening.

I should have results in a week or so.

man just upload the latest firmware into the emanage. I have ran all the harnesses, including the ignition for a yr now with no problems.

Coil pack gets ruined, car doesn't run, and you have to buy a new coil pack.

So are the ignition problems solved with the new harnesses and software?
