Who else got fried coil packs with the Emanage?
I want to try the "diode" fix you guys have tried but I'm a little fuzzy on the logic.
I know that the problem is that the e-Manage is not allowing the coil packs to zero out. Because they are in a constant "on" status, they burn out.
I know that a diode allows current to only travel in one direction. What I'm not getting is that if I put a Diode in the line, wouldn't that keep all current from flowing to the coil packs? I mean I want current to flow to the coil packs but when it's done to zero out. Am I correct in this thinking or am I way off. A little help needed here please.
Also I remember somebody saying that they ordered that Ignition Signal Adapter #2 from GReddy. Does anybody know if this is the solution?

Hey there. Well its hard to say that anything is wrong so far. I've left my car on for a couple minutes but zero problems. The diode idea seems like a logical answer to it but that would mean you were getting voltages back to the unit and not to the coils. Diodes work like check valves it goes in one way but not the other. If you put in a diode you really aren't stopping anything i feel.
Draw the circuit diagram to it and youll see what I mean.
What you really want is to ground the signal as soon as there is no rpms! There's def some simple fix to it but who is really going to want to venture into it! But then that would be ven trickier as turning on the car would probably confuse everything

Um, if no one has figured out the A/C issue... when you turn a car's a/c on, the alternator and timing(advance) sometimes kicks in... it has something to do with electrical components I'm sure...
