Who else got fried coil packs with the Emanage?

Do you know anyone running an Ultimate on an Evo?

Has anybody resolved this burning coil issue? A couple people have said they bought the ignition adapter but never posted resluts. I have a 3rd Gen Eclipse running the Ultimate and I've burnt up 3 myself.

when u turn the A/C on. it maybe causing a high voltage "surge" or the raise in RPM might be confusing the Emanage. I would contact greddy with this problem to see if they might have over looked sumthin
When I turned on the A/C is exactly when it happened the second time. The first time I can't really remember if it was on or not. I was hoping that at least one of the members that said they bought the ignition adapter would have posted results. Thanks for the input though.
Well, I have an answer for everyone. I also have EVO7 with exactly same problem. Please understand that the problem will only happen when you tune both fuel and ignition timing. If you only tune the fuel, you'll never see this problem. I was told that only some EVO will have this problem (not all). In my case, AC is the one trigger this problem. The solution is to use a special device from GReddy called "GReddy e-manage Ignition Signal Adapter #2 - #15900907". You can buy it from this website below:

It's cheap and easy to install. Now my car is running perfectly with more HP, yet less gas consumption.

As far as wiring in the diode can someone please provide some instruction. I know where to wire it in and how to solder it in, but I'm not sure which way the diode should face (i.e. where the signal to the coils will terminate I guess). Please forgive me but unless it's straight up splicing/tapping and soldering I'm a bit lost.
By a total mistake I left the key in the ignition in the "ON" position for almost 5 hours tonight!!!!! Anyway....no melted coil packs. Also I'm running Zero Airflow Adjustment on my e-Manage, so it would make sense that it's just the e-Manage not dropping the voltage back to zero. Installing a diode like I was mentioning before "may" correct this right? Little help please???
