Do I have S1s?

looking to get these cams installed in 2 weeks. The specs on the side of the box are:

6004272 Intake 10.80mm 107 CL

6005272 Exhaust 10.30mm 113 CL

Why do I have a feeling these are not S1's? I got them new from a member on the board. Even if they are not I'll still get them installed.

That looks right for an VIII, CL's looks about right for a s1 as well. These are GSC Camshafts? Their website lists the lift and CL's, if not for that exact part #, just get a hold of them.

S1 Specs gsc-6008S1
Intake 268 Duration 10.50mm peak lift, 107 degree Centerline
Exhaust 268 Duration 10.50mm Peak Lift, 113 degree Centerline

Those are the specs right off of stikiller.com. They may be an older set of S1's. Did you buy them used?

Hmmm... Interesting. Best bet would be if GSC could chime in and let us know whats up. The specs are very similar.

those are the old 272s not the S1 set. the S1 set is a single part number of 6008S1 and the specs tripperfx3 posted would be correct.

Wondering if anyone still runs the old 272's. How much better are the S1's over the old 272's? Better mid range spool or better low end spool?
