I'm trying to find out the truth in a rumor that GSC is having a dowel pin issue with the new S1s that is delaying the delivery of orders.

 

they are working on them right now. shouldnt be too much longer

 

does this affect any prior s1 cams?

 

Thanks for the confirmation Greg. I was just verifying that the company that I ordered them through was being straight with me. You should trust, but verify. I look forward to getting these installed and retuned.

 

I don't believe it does. GSC just redid their S1s and this hiccup, I believe, only affects their updated S1s.

 

How do you know if you have the newer or older S1's?

 

The newer ones are being made right now.

 

Hey Chemwarrior do you have aftermarket cams right now?
Iam thinking about replacing my Hks 272 with these but not sure if I should just go bigger.

 

I have the GSC S1s on order right now. I'm hoping to get them in this week.

 

Any word on when these are coming out?

 

the only problem is people putting them in using the "zip tie " trick and not know if things are really put together right ... i know i found out the hard way

whats the difference between the old and new S1s? I bought mine back in April. I have not installed them yet. can i exchange for the revised ones?
