1. I'd recommend a high-flow cat. The smell if ****ing gross with no cats. It's bad enough with a high flow, but when you're running rich with no cats you're gonna stink of fuel constantly and leave a trail of it behind you when you drive. 2. 2.5" would be ideal for ID on all exhaust piping. 3. Sections from IC to TB depends upon how you route it. I'd say 2-3 for ease of removal. Mine's 3, but when I redo it in the distant future I may change it to 2 with only one connector. 4. I agree with rhyzin on the IC piping diam. You don't want reducers everywhere or pressure drops, so don't go much bigger. At the suggested diam you'll only need one reducer either at the TB or in the piping on the way to the TB.

I guess it's affirmation more than anything else, but that's my $0.02. Good luck!
