WRX injectors will just plug in. But that doesn't mean your car will run. It just means they physically fit and use the same style clips. I'm almost 1,000% sure you will need a fuel controller.

Rx7 injectors will also fit in place you will just need longer fuel rail bolts, approx 1" longer than stock and some washers for the tip of the injector.

Then they're probably about the same as the RC Engineering injectors that I have.

410 or 440cc/min. Either way they're more than most people are ever going to need on their Lancers. I don't think you're really going to need to make them spray more. As long as their not clogged you'll have a ton of fuel at your fingertips.

You may need a fuel pump too if you don't already have one. (Not directed at you specifically, just general info.) I forgot about that earlier. I don't think the stock pump could keep up with these. I'm not 100% certain, but I think that goes for the NA guys too...though I don't know why any NA guy would need that much fuel in the first place even with high compression pistons.

Hobie, how much and where did you purchase your injectors? Also, did you mean that the RC injects require an inch spacing also?

The stock bolts arent long enough. The injectors themselves are about 3/4 inch longer than the stock injectors. SO you need longer bolts to bolt them in place in the IM.

Hobie, hopefully all on here have upgraded fuel pumps as part of their turbo mods. I remember when we were tuning this guy's Honda LX turbo on a dyno in Tampa.... on 60% throttle the car was behaving normal and building boost. At WOT, the car would bog, die, didnt build boost and just ra n plain HORRIBLE. After asking his fuel mods, I realized he hadnt upgraded the pump, and the stock pmp was choking bad, even on just 6 psi.

if you put a longer injector in then the stock injector would that make ur fuel rail sit different? meaning the angle of the fuel rail....if it is not sitting on the base were it is meant wouldnt that cause fuel leaks?

this is the problem im running into now...the precision injectors i got are longer by 14mm or so....if i put washer or longer bolts that will make the fuel rail sit differently....also running into a problem with the clips not fitting

When I ran the RX-7 injectors, they were longer than stock, but all I did was get longer fuel rail bolts. At first, I thought there was going to be clearance issues with a sensor that I have right there, but when I torqued down the bolts the rail sat perfectly. I had no fuel leaks whatsoever, outside of one time, I had a ripped o-ring on one of the injectors. Besides that, there was no leakage whatsoever.
