last vaccum question i think.. does the wastegate actuator vaccum come from the cold air intake side, or the compressed side?

the black pipe the bolted to the outlet of the turbo has a little nipple on. just connect that to the Wastegate hose.

here you can see the black pipe

ok, so i started her up, and she purred like a kitten, but my wastegate actuator, and stock evo 8 BOV didnt seem to be working (my fmu is off the same line, but my air/fuel gauge says the fmu is working)? Anyone have any things that i should check (i know its vaccum related)? The wastegate actuator, is that suppose to be installed with the wastegate all the way down?

ok, so I think I may have f-ed something up.. I am thinking it may be valves, but i have no idea. It makes a sort of rattling sound at high RPM's, but its only when letting off the throttle....oh and this is without the turbo on and back to stock..Any ideas?

Edit: I may have just thought of something, i am running mobil 1 10w30 fully synthetic, and when pulling the stick it just seems way to thin (oil weight). I am going to go buy some good old valvoline and give that a shot.

Rattle when you let off on the gas can also be as simple as your exhaust being too close to something. Have a look at that as well.

did you have to trim your front crash bar to fit the evo ic???? i have an evo IC... and when i did the install the damm crash bar only allowed 2" of clearance space from the ground.... VERY scary!! i took off my kit cuz i moved from jersey to miami..... so im planning my 2nd attemp Very soon...

? That question doesn't make any sense. What PSI are you running? Intercooled or non-intercooled? What supporting mods? What kind of tuning? It's not like you just bolt on a turbo and magically gain 50 hp, there's a lot of other things to consider.

im not a retard but i guess i did leave that blank but lets just say 7 psi, intercooled, i did say just the basics just to get it running. im not wanting to know 5psi intercooled = this or 7 psi= that. just want to know basic stuff. if i get what i need how much will i gain?

You are asking "If I run this what will gain", which again isn't an easy question to answer. You could be at anything from 170 hp to 250 hp depending on other variables.
