thats a really broad question because you have to consider a lot more factors when boosting. also your intake and header will have to go if u ever decide on a turbo kit. but generally, expect around 200hp give or take...it all depends on ur setup and tune.

HAHAHA kungfugrl! eh i felt so bad with my lancer...i must make him fast or replace my baby with an 08 Ralliart Next Year or maybe this year iuno whenever it comes out. Can we make our Evo Stock Engine 2.0 liter faster than 200? i know 200 HP is already fast but i want more power! 300 maybe or 270?

I'm around 230+ whp...with only my piggyback tuned...and not tryin to brag, but i've beaten a wrx (not sure if it was an sti) from a roll. so 200+hp is definitely possible with our cars. i believe the fastest lancer is pushin 300+hp doing high 12's...someone correct me if im mistaken. if you ask me, 230whp is fast enough if you dont plan on going full-race. perfect for daily driving

I dunno search? you have an 05 so its a tad different, he likely has the stage two for the 02-03, if i were you i would say get the rrm 16g which uses the fifth injector and go from there, the issue with o4+ is that you have a return less fuel system. I have auto also, i think i'm making about 190whp or so on a non ic, but i have every bolt on and a tune.

you got it and i've only done fuel economy tuning. i was barely getting 4 days from a full tank before the tune...and now a full tank goes up to 2 weeks. at 8 psi, i think the car is fast enough...for now. but yea, do your research. this site is full of useful info.

The gains depend entirely on the mods you already have, how much boost you run, how good the tune is and of course how you choose to measure the gains. Some guys say they are at over 200whp while others dyno at under 140whp. It also depends on what you want. From a roll a lancer can be a beast but from a stop traction becomes a major problem.
Kungfugirl, keep it up, continue to dismiss my dyno, it really helps the lancer community.

What needs to be understood is that the result Amby got was his and should not be used as a bench for all Lancers. his gains or lack there of, are all based on a myrid of variables. I doubt I'm above 100whp... conversly, the most powerful Lancer on these boards is 300+whp.

You can't compare NA to FI Lancers... nor can you base an arguement totally on peice of evidence on one weak dyno result. I urge all of you to run a search to see more than one dyno run.

Exactly but that doesn't mean any one dyno is more accurate than the other or that you can simply dismiss a dyno because you don't like the results.

Dynos are only tools for tuning. Mustangs read 30% less than most dynojets, so 87hp on that dyno could well be 120 on someone elses dynojet. Now as far as comparing 2 cars on the same dyno and only finding 4hp that is regrettable for the money spent.
