I waited 800 miles before I got on mine. I stalled my Evo after the clutch install also.

haha i as well stalled out when i was driven out of the shop. i felt stupid but what can yah do.
i have about 1000 miles on this kit as well as my clutch and things are looking good.
my clutch is still maken a chatter noise but i can put up with it. if i can put up with the walbro wine and a slim fan blowing my car backwards i think i can handle that. haha.
i found another coolent leak. yey, cuz i was in stop and go traffic for a couple miles and my car started to overheat. well i got out and started moving coolent lines back and forth and sure enough one decided to take a leak on me. so all is fixed

The chatter might go away as you break the clutch in.

That's weird, did you replace the TOB at the same time?

What kind of clutch did you get? Depending on what clutch set up you, the chatter might be normal and is going to remain forever!

i got the act stage 2 from rrm, and yes the chatter is still there. almost on my 2nd oil change. there is another rally here in ohio that goes to the same college as me with the same clutch in it, im gunna have to look him up and see if his does the same.
i am also having a overheating problem. its fine while im driving but as soon as i get into a construction area for a mile or more(stop and go) it gets really hot. im thinking its cuz i only have 1 slim fan, i had to take out both fans for my install. anyone have any thoughts?

You still do need two fans to cool your radiator. One fan won't cut it unless it moves an insane amount of CFM. I would suggest either getting a higher performance slim fan if you intend on sticking with only one or adding a second fan. Even with two slim fans on the setup I have my car still gets a little hot when in stop and go traffic. I still have yet to install my hood vent to release the excess underhood temps now building up with the turbo.

well well well, where to start.
update:
i think i blew part of my headgasket out.......not fun stuff, i have yet to check my plugs cuz i dont have a long enough extension so i have to do that tomorrow first thing. my exhaust had condensation on it, very well could have been coolent, and i filled my resivoir up most of the way and now its down 5 inches. i think this happened in stop and go traffic because that was when it started to act up.
good news is that i dont think im getting much blow by, because my oil height would have raised on the dipstick, so im just tryen not to boost while all of this is happening
my plan is to get arp head studs, 4g93 intake mani, decompression gasket(want opinions on), and since im taking it all apart why not add a cam. any suggestions on any of this?

ARP head studs are a must with anyone going to a turbo setup. Stock Mitsu head bolts are notorious for flexing and stretching at the worst of times. Just to help out, the Mitsu head gasket part number is MD374466.

could just be the prob..... ill cross my fingers and go the cheapest rout rather then spending all of this money and find out it was a temp prob. haha
my nexted mod will def. be a cam, just so i can check it all out and see what really happened
