Opinions on turbo

Ok im looking for opinions on what you would do out of my options.

Buy a used kit here on the forums.
Buy the tsi kit.
Get a custom turbo done by stage 6.

The custom kit would be around 4500 installed but i get to pick the parts being used, turbo ect.

Just looking to see what some of you guys would do. I personally am thinking about the custom route and using some type of 16g with fuel to push more boost.

Go custom. Used kits sometimes have missing parts, and the new is around the same price as the custom kit, without installation. Custom I think would be the way to go for ya.

what year lancer is this?. If its 2003-2006? i think that uses the 4g94 then you dont need a huge turbo with a high psi. You would need to build up the bottom end first for pig PSI.

Custom kit. Just don't blow up since you're planning for big boost.

It's a shop, so they're charging him double. Then they're charging him for install. Hopefully some of that money covers the tuning he'll need as well.
