New turbo
New turbo
Hi I have a 2003 Lancer Oz and I'm looking to put a turbo in it but I don't know that much about it here's what i found:

Also the Magnaflow Highflow cat, RR powder coated manifold, RR stainless steel headers, and i need help with the gauges and what to get.
Can somebody help me decide what to do with this and explain what I need. I have $6000 to work with. Thanks

^ good point. It has been proven it the past, the Lancer isn't the strongest car out there. I know for sure my next project will be RWD, possibly V8.
If you look down a couple of threds You could check out my post on "Projsct Rage"
You can get an idea of what parts you'd have to pick up and I kept tabs on what I spent.
There is tons of info on the forum too.

yea the car is paid off and i have $6000 just for the turbo and everything with it like the headers and everything it is my daily driver but i have another truck so im just looking to make this fast but not going to blow my engine fast so i was just looking at the t28 and some small stuff like that any recomendations
It's totally cool if you're dead-set on powering up the Lancer, and by the term T-28 used you're not looking for an all-out beast. So your budget is definitely going to help out here. To be honest, unless you feel you're comfortable piecing everything yourself...your best bet is a RRM kit (the stg II will impress you!).

If you get a turbo kit from roadrace, it will have everything you need to go fast. It comes with either a turbo manifold or up/downpipes (not sure if they made the manifold for 02-03 kits yet), so no header needed. Just get that kit and put it on. If you aren't satisfied with that power, then come back here and ask what to do next. Have fun and good luck.
