Thinking about turbo what next...

Hey everyone before i continue I just want to say I have researched and I am debating on getting a turbo know. I'm a little nervous because I not sure i understand all of the parts. I drive a 2005 Lancer ES with a RRM SRI and a N1 catback exhaust.

I was thinking of buying all of the evo 8 turbo parts and putting them onto my car but I hear you have to mod then. So what are some other turbos that you might recommend. Also I am trying to buy the turbo in parts as a slow project and have it in by end of spring. Thanks For your help.

By the end of spring isn't a slow build btw! LOL You definitely need to read up in the F/I section here and as well at some other members builds that included all Evo VIII stuff. There are a few here, so get familiar with that search field!

Yes, plz! don't rush it! Hence, do plenty of research and search ALOT. If you have SPECIFIC questions, plz don't hesitate to ask!

You probably save about a thousand when your all done. Some where around 2000-2500. Unless your paying someone else to install it.

dibsen: thanks i checked it out and i have it save to my bookmarks. It def help full that exactly what i want to do but I still reading on it. Cause if you have to weld i dont have the tools or know how so im really far from turbo :/
did u do it part by part? and i read that my engine can handle low boost with this turbo but thats ok as long as i dont run higher boos with out reinforcemants right?
