alright w/e but my friend has a evo and his is mounted the same as mine. and he has not tampered with it in any way.
i dont understand two things, first you keep on winking at me and thats kindda weird. second, i dont understand how it would take less load to hold it closed.

Ok, next time ill say "hint hint" instead. With the pressure to the side, the force pushes the valve closed instead of open like it would from below. This would let you use the least about of tension for the spring in the bov (what is what you want) so the valve opens faster and longer.
Your car does what in the 1/4...15's? BTW, my car is stroked from 1786cc to 2008cc and running 1.5bar on a tiny torque monster of a turbo (20psi before 3k). Dont think it would be fair. Not to mention my car is about 500lbs lighter
