non intercooled spool

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=7f0_1200529308

Hey all! My name is David.

I thought i would pop in and give a shoutout about my setup since it has been pleasing me for quite some time now. Im driving a 2002 ES. I have around 75k on the baby now and have been boosted on RRM's non intercooled t-25(5psi) kit for about 25k now. I just wanna say this kit has been more than reliable. It has withstood my abuse and even my screwups (being a first time booster).

I pretty much learned how to install the kit by browsing around on these forums a few years ago and although i never posted before i am back now to test out my new camera and give anyone whos interested some media. Like i said i pretty much knew nothing about working on cars before i installed this kit but it was easier than i expected and the thing works great and gives a good pickup and quick spoolup! For the time i have had it on i have only changed tires/oil/plugs/breaks.

I also have: rear progress anti-swaybar
RRM slotted rotors/axis ults
RRM magnaflow axelback
RRM header
Plx wideband 02
greddy egt
defi boostgauge

and i just bought some Rota Boost 16x7's (havnt put them on yet) also they are my first cosmetic mod even tho im only really interested in the performance aspect of em. quick question about the rims if anyone cares to answer. will 40mm offset stick out 2 much? i put the rim on and it looks real close but i dunno how much farther the tire will stick out so im kinda worried.

anywho if anyone is interested in boostin and wants the perspective of a satisfied first timer hit me up and check out my links(ones a vid)

peace!

cool yeah i think it just looks weird cuz its not wrapped yet. how wide are your tires? i kinda wanna go with a 225 but i dunno how it would look. maybe 215 or 205.

also heres another quick boost vid:

cant really hear the spooling over the engine sound and my wastegate is rerouted into the dp so its nice and quiet.

the kit? or the turbo. the garret t-25 is the same turbo thats stock on the 2ndgen dsm's. small for quick spool but blows hot if u up the psi too much.

Imeant specs on the turbo itself. a/r's???
I have t25 too (not really, t2/t3 hybrid).
T3 flange with .60 intake and .80 exhaust.
I'll make a vid of my car this saturday. Full boost about 3300rpm and power all the way to 6800rpm.

Anyway, good to see another turbo around here. Definitelly get an ebay intecooler and you'll be set.

Did you dyno it? How many psi?
