What to do for 06 fuel options

Ive been building my 16g kit by following along other similar threads. And now I am done! Or so I thought. I have Impreza 2.5 injectors (280cc, not much bigger from our 240cc, but they were free from my old car ), walbro 255lph, and a FMU.

But it turns out the 2006 models are returnless, so I cant use a FMU. I am all ready to install my kit, I just need to figure out this issue, budget is now down to a remaining $300..

My friend said it wouldnt be hard to make a return line so I could install the FMU, he didnt give much info on that though? Can it be done, if so what parts?

Thanks guys

Could buy the parts from an older lancer or go with an aftermarket piggyback ECU.

I don't have any experience with piggybacks, I'm sure I could install one, are they fairly easy to use? (and whats everyones favorite?)

If you don't know what you're doing, hire someone who does.

I was under the impresion that you had to use a piggy back if you used bigger injectors like wrx. im not sure if they are the same as impreza ones. What about ecu flash? I was going to use wrx injectors for my build but was told they were to big to use with just fmu.

If you use bigger injectors, you need a way to retune the fuel map.

For a return system, I had this question too, go to a junk yard and get an 02-03 lancer intake manifold, fuel rail, return line, and fuel pump. Does anyone know if the 02-03 ecu has any part in this or does the fuel just return on it's own from pressure, or what?

To make it a return fuel system all you need is the 02-03 fuel rail and reg. fuel line can't how i used and i used a copper 90. i also have a walbro 255 that i have wired to a toggle switch from the battery.
