yea you're probably right on that. But are you talking about 12 psi max on stock internals. I'm pretty sure you can get more power out of that turbo with forged internals and other things upgraded. Any who I'm still going with the gt28rs. I"LL SHOW YOU ALL 400hp (in an evil voice)

yeah from what those audi dudes were talking about it seems like the gt28rs would be better seeing as we dont really spoool past 6 grand. does it have ball bearings?
yes i believe they are duel ball bearing if not duel they are ball bearing turbos

I went for the RRM setup. It will give you enough boost and it's been tested. I had to replace several clutches for ACT high performance models because the power was too much for the OEM model. Why not talk to Rob about it?

truth is you will prolly only get somewhere up to 18-20psi if that with forged internals. and your going to need an aem ems. good luck on the 400....

On stock internals, 12 PSI is pushing it, seems like most people go for 10 PSI to be on the safe side. Even if you go completely nuts with forged internals, decompression gasket, standalone ECU, etc. you'll probably max out at 18 PSI which all of the turbos listed can handle.

i was really thinking about the 350-400whp when i first got my turbo than i thought about it. its really not worth it. the lancer really isnt a drag machine, its possible but i wouldn't recommend doing it. autox seems the best way to go and you dont even need alot of power.

Somewhat right and wrong. I have right now 206whp and 230ftq. and I completly have no 2nd gear on pretty much new azenis. Meth will be tuned and I'll be around 250whp and even more torque. On the streets, I don't mind the spining, it's kinda fun, lol, but once I hit the track I want and need that traction in 2nd gear. That's why some semi-slicks on some steelies should help.

I think he means final ratio in the transmission. I'm sure it's possible but that won't necessarily help that much. The problem is the car will make too much torque for two wheels to handle. Unless you plan on using first gear to 60 mph (in which case, good luck getting going), you'll just have to learn to not stamp on the gas at every opportunity.

It's definitelly possible to change the gears, but no one has tried ralliart gears (yet). I know a place that could re-do my whole tranny but that would cost me few thousands.

And for the my issues with traction: I have 205/40/16 azenis (very stiff wall) up front that didn't do squad for me (atleast not in a straight line) and at the back I have Dunlop SP Sport FM901's 205/50/16 which have alot more softer wall and they are 50's so I should have more rubber to the floor like that. I'll flip them to the front and check the traction. I just hope it hooks in 2nd.
