ok... so today i took it out with my buddies crossfire, and kept up with him just fine from a role buttt it dies when i go to a stop.. i thought it might just be a loose connection on the bat, so i got some new heavy duty clamps from autozone to replace the crappy oem ones. but it still dies... but... as long as i keep the rpms above 2000 it runs fine... prolly somthing really simple but what is it, cuz i cant figure it out.. help?!?!

Loose coupler. If you can't idle then you have a leak somewhere. I blew off 3 couplers 3 different times today working in my new kit.

thanks man, your cars lookin great btw^^

ok, well i figured out the idle problem. there are two small hoses that have yellow and blue/green stripes on them that go to the throttle body to some "brown thing" just above the fuel rail. well one of them came off somehow... so i popped it back on and it idles fine . i think it might actually have something to do with the fuel as well, cuz when i was gettin tuned he said i wasnt getting enough fuel, so thats one of the reasons we took it own to 7psi

buttt nowww... ive still got a boost leak somewhere cuz im luckey to get to 3psi in first, and then second and third will get to about 5 and bogg down.. :/ im gunna go check alllll of my connections

Besides checking to see if your couplers are all secure make sure none of them are ripped. I exploded a cheap coupler this weekend on my intercooler. I got on the throttle and dropped from 9psi to 5psi all of a sudden. I thought I blew off another coupler so I pulled over and everything was still connected. I had a perfect idle also. Then I started checking couplers one at a time and found a tear in one of them. I came home and put my Samco couplers on and haven't had problems since.

Do you have a good idle within the -20 to -24 range?

Ok...

Considering factory specs can't be below -18 I wouldn't be too sure if I would agree. Also, a low vacuum at idle is a guaranteed sign of a leak somewhere.

Evaporative Emission Canister? Not sure, really just trying to figure out what you are talking about.

As an FYI, if you had a loose pressure hose that came you probably want to get all new hoses and replace all of them. Also check the PCV valve, it sits right on top of your head. Unbolt that, shake it and see if it doesn't move freely. If it doesn't replace it, cheap item to replace.

That's a start on checking things out, cause you should be getting better numbers out of your turbo setup. Probably just need to do some general maint. most people forget about doing till there's a problem.

well as far as the hose comming off goes, it was because i started to tap into it to get the vacuum for my gauges and stuff but i used a differnt hose. then the hose i put back on to replace the one i cut was just a little to big so it came off. i put the same hose back on and and put zip ties on the end and now it fits tighter than oem and the idle issue is solved.

know im pretty much just not getting boost in first gear. i have gotten up to 7-8 in third, but im lucky to get 3 in first. ive checked all my connections multiple times too and cant find a leek anywhere.. :/

hey btw, what part of atl do you live in??
