The slave cylinder for the clutch is in the way of the intake on my turbo. I really need a pic of that area.

I just went through your thread on MPF. It looks like it's simply a case of incorrect measurements during fabrication. Your manifold needs to move the turbo more forward towards the radiator. Since the stock fans come out and slim fans get installed plenty of room opens up to move it forward. I can't see any way to make your current turbo location work.

sneate, I didn't measure. I was under the impression that the only clearence issue was the water pipe and all that needed to be done was to grind off the block of alluminum from the turbo.

I'm gonna try to alter the slave cylinder. If that doesn't work I'll have lots of parts for sale.

Also, the 02-03 Lancers have a slave cylinder built into the throwout bearing so there are no clearance issues. Most of us with the 16G6 kits have 02-03 Lancers.

OK so what if I find a 02-03 lancer at the junk yard and rob the trany? It would make replacing the clutch easier, I have to do anyway.

You would be better off purchasing a new one. You do not want to put a used throwout bearing on your car. You also need the bolts and mounting plate that attach the throwout bearing/slave cylinder inside the bell housing. Funny enough I was gonna convert the throwout bearing/slave cylinder setup on my '03 to the newer style with the separate components this summer for reliability reasons.

ok so im still only running -10 to -12 at idle on my boost gauge.

so i went to the prosport site to read the specs on it.>>>

http://prosportgauges.com/Digital-boost-1.aspx

and i found out that it reads -14Hg (Mercury) to +45psi.

my dads an engineer and was try to explain something about Mercury with gauge pressure and what not, but im pretty slow in the head when in comes to science n that kind of stuff... :P. so yeah anyone want to explain it in "moron terms"?
