who's used/using an ebay turbo...review?

I'm going to buy a cheap turbo to troubleshoot an unsolvable problem w/ my lancer, just curious who's used or is using one, and what kind. I was looking at the t3 45trim the smallest, anyone use that? Im concerned with the lag/ spool time! or the other I was considering is the t3 super 60 which on ebay is 48ar/63ar and the garett one is 42ar/48ar or 42ar/63ar.....and that guy on here using that garrett one is extremely happy, so idk ebay ones...and im thinkin that super 60 on ebay is a t3/t4 pretty big and maybe too big for spool on our little engines....so give me a heads up anyone with some knowledge, because i gotta go cheap right now..Thanks!

You get what you pay for, enough said. It might be worth your time to see what some of the evom vendors can do for you, they might be able to get you the turbo you want at a good price without the risks inherent to ebay (ie. getting crap parts).

Except that if you use a crappy turbo, you might not be able to diagnose the problem correctly. Would you use crappy tires to diagnose a suspension issue or a crappy pyrometer to diagnose a heat issue? If you think your turbo is blown, there are better ways to figure it out (like sending the turbo to a specialist).
