hmm alright...

its because my friend with a s2k was pulled over for no front plate. next thing you know the cop is looking under the hood and got a ref ticket

 

I guess its just stricter in some places. My lancer has gone through like 5 cops both following behind me or passing by me and i haven't got a no front plate ever. I hope i don't get in trouble for it because i keep it on top of my dash and i use suction cups to hold them to the windshield.

 

depends on the cop. But it is ugly covering the intercooler

 

can i keep my stock grille in front of the intercooler?? i wanna keep a sleeper look.. hehe!!

as far as the plate, just move it to the left or right side of the bumper...
