ok need help, my car for the past 3 days has died once everyday and today has not started back up, ill be driving and then it just dies. then it takes a few seconds to start up but not today. i noticed that when i turn the car on, i dont hear the fuel pump so i took the pump out and tested it and it works???? but when the pump is connected to the car it doesnt make a noise or nething even when out the fuel tank, the fuse is also good. the car has been driving lovely the past few days and seemed better than an average day...please helpp
Might be the fuel pump relay. I think it's under the fuse hood in the engine bay. If the relay is bad you will hear an audible 'click' when the key is turned to the on position. Have you checked the fuel pump harness with a multimeter to see if it's getting 12V when the key is turned to on?
