So if you take away that number and put the number that it would have been reliably (not even considering xtremeboost's business practices) it is the same as an RRM. Only RRM has been tried and true to be a very helpful company (despite a few hiccups lately with some people) and they have countless lancers of all years on the road with zero issues.

and b) I just think a lot of people want you to say straight out what you dance around.

Xtremeboost put together a basic turbo setup for your car. It wasnt a kit. It wasnt available to the general public with at least 2-3 cars working fine with it. Its just a custom kit that anyone could have pieced together. Their kit + your boost happiness destroyed your car. Theres nothing Professional, Marketable, or Proven Reliable about Xtremeboosts "kit". So they cannot be compared with RRM in terms of a turbo "kit". All they had was an Xtremeboost stamped custom turbo setup. Thats it
ok, if we just hadnt tuned it to 288 whp, and lets say, 250 whp, it would still be more powerful than RRMs, and more reliable than the 288 tune. but, what you are forgetting, is that on that tune, it hasnt been confirmed whether or not the tune was bad because of bad AFR readings from the dyno software. if RRM gives you a kit with a bad tune, and it turns out to be lean on the streets, then both kits are equally "unreliable"

also, you're right, after xtremeboost left town i heard a lot of people were hurt by his business practices, BUT even then they all agreed that his physical work is very good quality, just not his total business ethics there was another car prior to mine that had the kit on it runnign for a while, there are even vids of it online (link in the xtremeboost thread somewhere) and after my kit was done, there was word of another kit being built, but I havent heard from xtremeboost in a long time, so idk whats up with that. yeah, RRM has multiple kits out on the market, but all the RRM fanboys like Evolve and Serious08 are what make it so horrible, and give no credit to any other companies. If I werent selling my car, I would slap the turbo on again, get an AFR gauge this time (), and retune it to STILL have more power than RRMs kit and be cheaper and just as reliable!

I agree with some of your post, but the only things i'll disagree with are the following
1) RRM fan boys dont change the kit itself. Its well made, tuned properly from the start, and road tested. So you cant beat that rap sheet
2) 288, 250, they're all numbers based on an engine that blew up. Its just like 02-07 lancers. Sure you can bump the boost up to 10-11 psi and run great numbers. And yeah probably last a while. But its dropping the probability of being safe way down. Where as 7psi is fully known to be fully daily driveable, safe, and proven. Same goes with RRM's numbers. They're probably tested to be a good mix between what you can run, and what you should run. Thats the main point some people have been trying to prove. You can reach 288, 250, 240, but the bottom line is reaching those numbers but not overstraining things. Yes most engines can handle boost, turbo or non turbo. But no they cant handle a lot.
3) Stage 3 clutch with stock engine = nothing haha

lol i know the fanboys dont make the actual kit bad, but it personally just pisses me off when fanboys keep boasting about what they have and give absolutely no credit to other companies. im not being a fanboy for xtremeboost or anything, but at least i havent been downing EVERY aspect of RRMs kit. I know its a solid kit and everything, and yeah they are the only company with a kit out right now, but that doesnt mean everyone with an RRM kit can talk bad about anything else on the market.

also, how do we know for sure that this car cant handle 250 whp as reliably as 212 whp?? or 260 whp? or 270 whp? etc., etc.

i know stage 3 on stock doesnt mean anything lol but I still got one and evolve doesnt! why do I have one?? because I figured a new clutch would be important in having as much horsepower as I did.

We are getting into stage 2 now. WE have so many kits out there and not a single issue, I think it is time to turn up the boost and tune for 13-14 psi. I will keep you posted. Good thing is you can go Stage 1 and then build of of there to Stage 2 so you will not have wasted any $ is you already have a STage 1 setup from RRM

ROAD/RACE

Any specific plans in mind for stage 2 or is it going to just be more boost and different tune??
