Not a fanboy. Just seeing that xtreme doesnt give a rats *** about you or your car shows alot, and RRM who has been diligently known to back lancers from the get go, also says alot. Yiz, you should just stop posting here because your f**king annoying, always talking sh** about RRM in front of their face when all they've done was be nice to you and even tried helping you with advice in some cases. So start a new "xtrmeboost turbo fail ftw" thread and bi*ch about how you blew up your motor because your a greedy piece of sh**.

Too lean since too much power would not be too much if you had more fuel etc.... But it all depends on if connecting rod went first then caused that damage to pistons or if pistons went first and jammed the motor to a stop. Basically if pistons went first, leanness or excessive timing is the issue. If rods went first then maybe too much power for those rods although detonation can still cause the weakest link to go first. What is the weakest link? I am not sure. Hope that makes sense.

Damn that looks bad, have you ever ran it 1/4 mile? Or has any turbo lancer done so yet? And how about someone just do a Caliber SRT-4 swap, instead of turboing the 4B11? And match it with the Calibers 6speed tranny, 280HP stock I believe.
the Caliber is pretty mutch the same motor as 4b12 but turboed... put i guess if you have 4b11 you can do that.. but why? if you goin to do a motor just for the 4b11 just do a Evo X swap...
The caliber swap would be waayyyy cheaper and make around the same power, and you get a 6spd tranny instead of a 5spd.
I don't have a Lancer anymore so I don't care about any of this really, just giving different options. And everyone with an Evo wishes they had a 6Spd, so it only make sense to get what the others wish they had if you have a chance to.
