Well, i wanted a top-mount manifold because it allows for a much larger collector, longer runers, and less dramatic turns, so all around much more free flowing manifold.

its currently a AT.. and no i highly doubt it will hold together long. i havent decided what i want to do with yet, there fairly cheap, so i figured blowing it up first was a better plan since ive destroyed 4 motors last year, and the trans is still workin just fine.

After seeing it now, I'm a little surprised that you didn't try to do a forward facing turbo.

ya.. well i have everything done that i can do.. i have a few things on my list that need to be taken care of still.. but im mainly waiting on Q to finish the fab work.. once hes done.. the car will be at my place for 2 weeks, maybe 3 weeks, while i do all the little things on my list(like painting and clearin the engine bay) swappin the motors, getting it all hooked up, wire tuck... etc etc.. then it will be back at Qs hopefully just for a weekend, for him to build my a hoop and make the brackets for the seats.. then depending on what matt is wanting to do, it will all just be tuning left.

I have 4 buddies that all want to help with some of the prep work that i need done.. so really its a good long weekends worth of work that i want to do.. but i gotta take my time. dont want to damage anything.

First tune, and breakin, Will be at 11psi! without nitrous. after 1000miles, ill crank it up to 18 or 20psi with a 100shot.. and see what it will do.. im sure the trans will break, so then it will be down for a month.. goal is 24psi on e85 with a 100shot. should do low 11s.. 10s if im lucky. ive done ALOT of prep work for drag racing, chasis mods and weight reduction, thing should be a monster

Ive been keeping everyone out of the loop of everything ive been doing because its no ones business unless there the ones doing the labor. Q only knows what hes doing, and has no idea on anything else that ive done to the car.

haha.. no not even close. and if i was to do something like that.. it would be a dogbox on a 5spd.. not worth the time, thats a road racers setup, not drag.
