Talking **** it.. turbo build

i wanna be like errrbody else and start a build thread. so here it goes. its gonna be more of a time line of my car as well.

back when i first got her... put a nice lil drop on her.. tein s techs

soon came ebay intake and obx header

black grill and some new wheels..

a lil fun

friends sick *** cam.

had a lil accident. dont mind the black fender... also the sickest s2k ive ever driven.. 07' s2000 CR.

new wheels

new evo7 front bumper and tinted headlights

thats about where she sits now..

and now on to the turbo kit

rrm t25 turbo kit.

all this is stuff that i have..

t25 turbo
tial 38mm wastegate
greddy rs bov
all rrm intercooler piping, upper/lower
rrm intercooler
oil feed/return lines
walboro 255 fuel pump
02 wrx 440cc injectors
EvoVIII ECU
EvoX jdm 3 bar map sensor
innovate Lm1 wideband a/f
ngk plugs
ngk wires
joe p boost controller
autometer oil pressure gauge
tenzoR boost gauge
rrm carbon fiber a pillars with 2 gauge pod
hks turbo timer
10" slim fan
ACT 6 puck sprung clutch(stage 3)

i think this pretty much covers it.. if i see something i forgot to mention ill update it. also if anybody thinks there is anything that im missing feel free to give your 2 cents.

also test fitted the turbo and intercooler. everything fits like a cheap hooker.. plenty of space. heres some pics.

everything's on and running, just awaiting the tune now. may 31st is the date.
heres some pics. also got rid of the a/c and power steering.

ok so i got my tune today .

heres a couple dyno videos
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTSphW7Y2fk

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWWoOlxFvSM
im pretty satisfied with the numbers. i had it a lil higher and was still making power but i was puffing a lil white smoke between pulls so i called it quits. once i get my new motor we'll see what we can pull out of my cute lil turbo.. im calling it nibbler cuz its tiny but it eats ALOT

other mods

tein s tech springs
rrm rear strut bar
rrm lower tie bar
rrm lightweight crank pully
progress rear sway bar
energy suspension sway bar end links
custom cat back exhaust

i like them a lot! not what you would expect from lowering springs.. very comfortable ride.. very close to stock feeling just with a lower ride hight
i did the loan a tool thing at autozone for a compessor tool and did mine.. only took a couple hours.

i still would really much rather have coilovers though.. one of these days

hey when you said cheap fpr what kind and how well did it work? most people said don't trust the ebay ones so zi was trying to figure out did you get it from ebay.

Nice build I can not wait to start mine 4 more months and I will be ready to boost.

Ya as long as you have that wideband that will tell you long before any damage happens if the fpr is junk might as well give it a shot.

small update.. big update to come in a lil over a week

so my tune date is scheduled for may 31st, memorial day. paul at yimi sport sounds pretty excited to tune my car and im expecting some good numbers from one of the best ecuflash tuners on the west coast. i will post up some dyno sheets as soon as i get them . i have a few updated parts as well. i picked up and installed an evoVIII ecu, jdm evoX map sensor and an innovate lm1 wideband. the car runs beautifully with the evo ecu and ive just been doing some n/a data logging. been messing with the 2 step a lil bit too and im pretty excited to try it out with the slicks once im boosted. my goal is to be in the mid 13 second range right after tunning.

Ok I never heard of a two step on a lancer, I like the way it sounds on an evo!!! How do I get one of these on my car is it something in flashing the ecu?

well if you have an evo ecu then you already have 2 step. every evo ecu is programed with 2 step. its just a matter of setting the rpm you want 2 step to kick in at. its actually called a stationary rev limiter. when you pull up your rom on ecuflash you have to open the table called stationary rev limit. by changing that number you are changing what your car rev limits itself at when your car is sitting at a complete stop. i currently have my limit set at 4000rpm.
