check trough list

does anyone know any threads or know how to install head studs and the procedure to do it? like new gaskets, removing head etc

And can I reuse the manifold gasket for my turbo manifold? or do I need a new gasket.

Oh yeah one more thing can I use the O-rings from my stock injectors for my 440cc injectors?

I don't know the procedure but I would not recommend reusing gaskets and 0-rings.

you can use your O-rings from your stock injectors for your 440cc injectors, but you have to check them well, and about your head gasket it's highly recommend to use a new one, but you can use it unless you broke it when removing it.

if your 0-rings are good after you inspect them make sure you throw them into a little bit of gasoline so that they stay moist.

If you go cheap on critical parts, like a headgasket, you'll be in for a world of hurt after you go turbo and risk the integrity of your engine. Mitsu MLS headgaskets are not meant to be reused as they are crushed upon use to create a seal.

Buy a new head gasket. DONT use an old one. You can use your stock injector o-rings just look and see if there are any rips in them. I never soak my o-ring and I never have a problem. And just remember to check them for leaks when you start the car the first time. Honestly you don’t have to start to see if they will leak just cycle key till you have fuel pressure and look if you can smell/see fuel leaking, And for the exhaust to turbo manifold if you have the money I would use new but if you don’t have it I am using an old one on my turbo manifold I put it on stock header 1 month before I went turbo. And it’s not leaking at least no leaks that I see.

are you talking about using the stock manifold gasket? thats what I wanted to do buy I didnt know if I needed a new one or not? I also was going to buy new rings but if I can save $20.00 that would be awesome becuase i still got more stuff to buy, and I still have to modify my exhaust which is going to suck because thats going to cost more money

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT REUSE A HEAD GASKET!!!!!!!! Seriously no joke once a head gasket has been heat sealed ( roughly first one to three times the engine has been brought to normal operating temp. after gasket has been installed) It is no good once the head is removed you will be very unhappy when you start your motor if you try to reuse the old head gasket. As far as the exhaust manifold gasket is concerned mine still looked brand new it looked better than the new one I had to put on with the turbo mani so I reused my oem one and have had no issue.

Spend LOTS of time cleaning both the surface of the block and the head, I probably spent 4 hours meticulously cleaning the surfaces before I felt confident it was good to go. The gasket will only run you around $50. If you havent yet download the factory service manual from senates thread

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/la...able-here.html

If you dont have much mechanical experience I highly reccomend you either take it in to have it done or a much much cheaper way is to bring a friend that knows what there doing since there are quite a few ways you can mess things up if you dont get them correct

Good luck man
