Hey guys, i got a code for my MAP sesnor low circut, when my oil line burst and the engine caught fire for a min, the MAP sensor wires got torched and now i have a code for it. Question is, what exactly does the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sesnor actually do? Its the one thats mounted right on the intake mani. Im guessing this has something to do with my bad startups/ poor fuel economy, and wired fuel problems im having?

 

rewire it all the way to the clip. repin it if u have to.. if its still throwing a code.. send me a message, i can send u another sensor just incase urs went bad.. (or maybe u might want to look into swaping to speed density and lose the maf)
